The Georgia State Railroad Museum is in Savannah Georgia and was worth the $11 admission.
It was interesting to watch the old steam locomotive pull onto the roundtable and get turned to position it onto another track.
I was there a few years ago, but I remember reading that although Sherman spared the old railway yard during the Civil War on his March to the Sea, it sucummed to fire in the 1920s.
Even with all the Railroad tracks going every which way, I managed to get around on my scooter.
It was a great place for taking pictures! I've lost track of which of these photos I may have posted here before, but hopefully most of them are new to you.
