MULLEIN

Mullein has been used as an herbal remedy for coughs, diarrhea, and topical applications against a variety of skin problems. The flowers can also be used to make yellow, green or brown dyes. It is found growing in many different habitats, primarily in disturbed soils in full sun and I often see it growing in road ditches.

Moon

I suspect many of us will have a moon photo, or two for this week's Hunt!

Milk

This photo is from Northern Italy. The Gasthaus where we stayed in the Dolomites for a week had a small herd of cows and each morning the can full of milk was placed alongside the road for the truck to come pick it up.

Mennonites at the Merry-go-round

Mennonites are similar to the Amish, but with fewer lifestyle restrictions. They drive cars and use tractors, but still practice a simple lifestyle. I could have called this a Carousel, but Merry-go-round is another M word!

Meal

A lovely meal with crab cakes. During these covid times one of the things I miss most is preparing meals with my kids and grandkids and eating together.

Museums

I love visiting museums and enjoy all the opportunities they provide to learn new things! The Picasso Museum in Paris was a delightful way to spend a few hours.
