Totally agree. It's amazing the number of disillusioned folk I have spoken to who leave steem who mourn the state of affairs and them not making it big who never interact with others. They just post and run. Engagement is exactly how you say, a means to build your account but more importantly to get enjoyment from the place! It is the same for everyone, big or small
