VOYA beach resort and its unique restaurants and bars. Let’s see what happens “in the kitchen”.

When we booked our summer vacation hotel, VOYA beach resort, we had something very particular in mind. Being on a vacation with three kids(age 4,2 and 0) we need to have food instantly after we go for a meal. Although some children can stay relatively calm and wait peacefully, our case is different. The little beasts require instant action and can wait no more than one minute. The buffet style restaurants at All inclussive and Ultra all inclussive hotels are perfect for us and that is one of the main reasons we picked this exact hotel.

And what a wide variety of eating options did wehave!

Chef’s market - The main restaurant

The working hours of this restaurant were 7:30-10:00 for breakfast, 12:00-14:30 for the lunch and 18:30-21:30 for the dinner. And I have to say… the organisation and cleanliness of this place were out of this world. I mean… Cooking and serving food for about 1000 people at full capacity requires incredible concentration and managing skills.

Every evening there was a different topic. For instance one of the evenings there were only asian inspired dishes, including some fancy sushi rolls. The other evening, we had a teaditional Bulgarian dinner and after that we had the opportunity to enjoy Italian cuisine. We were happy that every evening there were some potatoes, like french fries, and pizza available, because they were our children’s everyday choice. But okay… we were there just for 5 nights, so they were allowed to have whatever they want.

And what about the desserts? There was a wide variety… cakes, macarons, bagels, ice cream and at least 10 different fruit options. And everything was incredibly fresh!

There was literally nothing to make a bad impression on us. All the cooking was happening in front of our eyes, starting with the preparations, going theough the cold kitchen and finishing with final preps. And there was barely any dish missing. At the moment something was over, the staff was already bringing a refill!

Catch - Late breakfast and Snack Buffet restaurant

The Catch restaurant was the place that works all of the time when the main restaurant is closed, so if someone overslept the breakfast, or was enjoying the beach until late afternoon, had the chance to eat soemthing delicious like fresh salad, burgers, pizza, french fries, tortilla wraps, fruits and one ton of other little treats.

The whole place was very neat and clean just like the main restaurant, and you could enjoy your meal inside, outside or even by the pool. Some draft beer and fizzy drinks/juices were always available too!

Lobby bar

The lobby bar was the only place where you can enjoy a drink 24/7 and the only place you can get some expenssive alcohol, which was not included in the Ultra All Inclussive package. There were some fine malt whiskeys that will cost you extra.

A sad part was that there we expected some higher quality tasty coffee to be available, but it was just like everywhere else. Don’t get me wrong… Coffee was good overall, but I and my wife are very picky and criticizing the quality of the coffee drinks.

The Spot bar

This bar was the one next to the pool. It was working until 23:00 so we enjoyed some drinks from there both during the days or until late nights. I have to tell you that I was pleasantly surprised by the great variety of relatively high quality alcohol that was included in the hotel’s All inclussive service.

The space was incredibly well organized and one little treat… there were various shots available all the time, ready to be drank. Waiting for my drink has never been more pelasant!

And take a look at the glasses! They were not made out of glass, for by the pool safety reasons, but they were looking great!

And every evening, after the kids were already sleeping it was time for whiskey and nuts… or some cocktails for my wife.

Nigt time snack

Oh… this little room was for very desperate people, who went hungry in the middle of the night. The choice of sandwiches, salads, fruits or kids’ juices was vast! I really wasn’t hungry after all the daily food, but a lot of people were visiting that room.

Some additional treats

Throughout the day, after 10:00 AM there were a choice of ice creams for the little guests, and of course, their parents! Every morning, before we went to our room for lunch oreparations we stopped next to the ice cream fridge. The kids and mommy were enjoying some ice cream while daddy was having an ice-cold beer!

Overall all the food was excellent and always fresh. We really had nothing to complain about and the children were enjoying a lor of treats almost all the time. This hotel became one of our favorites instantly and we will most likely visit it again diring the following years.
