There is a place that I would highly recommend to you and that is NU Hotel here in Bintulu.
This place has one of the most affordable buffets here in Sarawak and they do not cut cost. The quality and quantity is definitely there.
The underground of the hotel. I parked here and took a lift to the upper floors. The restaurant is located on the third floor.
After that, we reached the Nu Buffet restaurant. I knew about this buffet via Facebook. My wife saw a lot of recommendations. How much is the per pax price? RM 28 or around USD 5.50. All you can eat. Free flow of food. That is one of my hobby and a lot of the hobby of people here.
Luckily, there were still seats available. So, here we are, after paying for the buffet. Here preparing to survey at what food to eat first.
This is my favourite section. The fried potato, but in different shapes. I also enjoy nuggets. So, this is one of the areas that I am exploring. My strategy for eating at a buffet is that I eat a little of this and a little of that to enjoy most of the food. I counted, and there are around a hundred choices.
There are many different types of local delights to eat here too.

There is a plate of mushroom for those who love to eat mushrooms and some pasta.
The jelly section. Lots of colourful jelly to get. The desserts section.
