I'm attending the weekly battle challenge of splinterlands.
This week's theme is CAVE SLUG.
CAVE SLUGS is a monster of life splinter. This is a monster with melee attack.
This can level up to level 10 with 400 cards.
Power: This is a nice card with 2 melee attack, 1 speed, 4 health in level 1.
Abilities: It has an ability named opportunity in level 1, another ability named scavenger in level 3 and another ability named slow in level 5.
Opportunity: Monsters with the opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy monster with the lowest health.
Scavenger : Gain 1 max health each time any monster dies.
Slow: Reduces the speed of all enemy monsters.

Peacebringer of my team attacked first and that first attack was on bone golem of my enemy team and it took off the whole armor of the bone golem. Then luminous eagle of my team attacked the same bone golem of enemy team and took off one health. Then death elemental of my enemy team attacked and took off one health of shieldbearer of my team. Then shieldbearer of my team attacked and took off two health of bone golem of my enemy team. And then dark astronomer and then bone golem attacked and took off the whole armor of shieldbearer of my team. Then cave slug of my team attacked and took off one health of death elemental of my enemy team at the last of this round.
The first round got ended like this. No monster died in this round.Round 02
Peacebringer and luminous eagle of my team attacked and took off total three health of bone golem of my enemy team and then Then death elemental of my enemy team attacked and took off one health of shieldbearer of my team. Then shieldbearer of my team attacked bone golem of my enemy team and that bone golem got killed. Then dark astronomer attacked and took off only one health of shieldbearer of my team. Then cave slug of my team attacked and death elemental of my enemy team and that death elemental got killed. Then elven defender of my enemy team attacked and took off two health of shieldbearer of my team at the last of this round.
The second round got ended like this. Two monster of enemy team died in this round.Round 03
Peacebringer and luminous eagle of my team attacked and took off the whole armor of elven defender of my enemy team at the staring of this round. And then shieldbearer of my team attacked and took off one health of elven defender of my enemy team. And then dark astronomer of my enemy team attacked shieldbearer of my team and the shieldbearer got killed this time. It was their first kill after all this. Then elven defender attacked luminous eagle of my team and missed the attack. Then cave slug of my team attacked and killed one health of undead priest of my enemy team at the end of this round.
The third round got ended like this. One monster of my team died in this round.Round 04
Peacebringer and luminous eagle of my team attacked and took off total three health of elven defender of my enemy team at the staring of this round. And then dark astronomer attacked and took off the armor of luminous eagle of my team. Then elven defender attacked luminous eagle of my team and missed the attack again. Then cave slug of my team attacked and killed one health of undead priest of my enemy team again at the end of this round.
The fourth round got ended like this. No monster died in this round.Round 05
The spin turned another way this time. Peacebringer and luminous eagle of my team attacked and took off total three health of elven defender of my enemy team at the staring of this round like before. Then dark astronomer attacked and took off two health of luminous eagle of my team. And then cave slug of my team did the best thing by attacking elven defender of my enemy team and that elven defender got killed at the end of this round.
The fifth round got ended like this. One monster of enemy team died in this round.Round 06
The ranged attack monster dark astronomer of my enemy team reached front position and became unable to attack. Peacebringer and luminous eagle and at last cave slug of my team attacked dark astronomer of my enemy team and that dark astronomer got killed.
The sixth round got ended like this. One monster of enemy team died in this round.Round 07
Undead priest, the last monster of my enemy team reached the first position who had no attack ability and had only one health left. Peacebringer of my team attacked that last enemy monster and the undead priest got killed.

It has three abilities which are-
Taunt: All enemy monsters target this monster (if they're able to).
Shield: Reduced damage from melee and ranged attacks.
Return Fire: When hit with a ranged attack, monsters with return fire will return reduced damage back to their attacker.
LUMINOUS EAGLE : LIFE MONSTER

ABILITIES: REACH & FLYING AT LEVEL 1, KNOCK OUT AT LEVEL 5, SHATTER AT LEVEL 8.
This is a life monster, in the first level it has melee attacks (2), Speed (3), Health (5).
It has four abilities which are-
Reach: Melee attack monsters with this ability can attack from the second position.
Flying: Has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters who do not have the flying ability.
Knock Out: Does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned.
Shatter: Target's armor is destroyed when hit by an attack from monsters with shatter.

Did my strategy work? What will I try differently next time?
Yes my strategy worked nicely and I might try similar monsters with nice powers next time when I do some battle.
