Whenever you're in conversation with someone, whether it be a close friend, family member or significant other, do you 'think' about the words you're going to say before you say them, or does the conversation flow naturally, effortlessly? Do the words spring forth without you even thinking about what you're going to say beforehand, or do you calculate every little gesture and movement before you dare to speak?
It is only when we begin to 'think' about what we're saying that awkwardness and tension arises, and the conversation falls flat.
Despite what conventional wisdom says, the conscious, thinking mind is vastly overrated. Trust your intuition, follow your heart, and 'think' with your gut. The soul has its own intelligence, and it is vastly superior to the thinking, conscious mind that is falsely labelled as the key to success in our upside down world.
