Happy new week everybody, hope you all had a great weekend? Well mine was great, fun and had a bit touch of stress in it. Although it was a rewarding stress.

Well coming from my part of the world, you have to be multi-experienced in other to sail through the rough economic crises, aside your educational qualifications, you have to acquire a skill or a couple of skills to supplement it. In my case, I tried acquiring a couple of them and here below is one of my skills, although am not yet too good in it, I can still manage some things out of it.

Cake making is one of my supplementary skills, I learnt it from hanging around my neighbour who is very good in making it and I have been able to grasp a lot of things and can make a fairly good piece of cake, lovely and tasty. It is not an entire difficult task but it is also not very easy. Modest cakes are much easier to make than magnificent ones that will require a good knowledge of colors and a fair level of dexterity.

This weekend, I got three orders from three of my friends to make them a fairly modest cake, at a low price though and also to grace their birthdays to unveil the cakes, mind you, it is not that magnificent but sometimes a cake is a cake.
I attended one of the birthdays on a Saturday and the other two, yesterday being Sunday and it was a lot of work, the talking, the walking and of course, the dancing. But in a nutshell, my weekend was great.
Am glad I happen to pick up a skill so cheaply and I will try to see I learn more so I can design a really eye-catching cake soon enough.
