Extraño Concurso No 28: Extraño, sumamente extraño / Strange, extremely strange
Versión en Español
-¿lo ves?
-Si.
-Se ve muy asqueroso.
-¡Obvio que si!
-Y hasta repugnante.
-¿Y qué?
-¿Vas a tocar eso?
-Ummm... dejame pensarlo.
-Loco.
-Loca tú.
-Marrano.
-¡Calla!
English Version
-You see?
-Yes.
-It looks very disgusting.
-Of course it does!
-And even disgusting.
-So what?
-You're going to touch that?
-Ummm... let me think about it.
-Crazy.
-Crazy you.
-Marrano.
-Shut up!
To which the girl who accompanies our protagonist, who is nothing more than a child who was staring with a magnifying glass at the fungus that recently appeared on the tree at the back of his home, laughs loudly.
-It is certainly fascinating.
-Tarado.
-Go to sleep!
-And what are you going to do with it?
The boy begins to touch it with his fingertips. He notices that it is somewhat soft to the touch, and that it is not slimy as he thought. Then he decides to rip it off.
-Crazy.
The boy stares at her with half-closed eyes, implying that he doesn't care what she says.
-Then eat it.
He thought it was a good idea, so he put it in his mouth to start chewing and tasting it: Magical colors and strange sounds make him feel that he is on an extra-sensory journey, where the things around him lose their defined shapes to become abstract. Everything moves, nothing is static. He no longer knows where is up and where is down. It seems crazy. He feels his body as light as a feather, that he can no longer experience carnal pain, and that....
-Momaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! -As soon as he opens his eyes, he realizes that he is inside the hospital.
The boy's eyes are so wide open that they look like two fried eggs while he sees everywhere -still under the effects of the hallucinogenic mushroom.
Everyone around him looks at him dumbfounded, thanking heaven that the boy has come to his senses and that he might be better off if he rests; except for his cousin, who laughs out loud knowing that her cousin looks like a crazy person.
