Hello friends!!! again participating in the art contest, now with Spirit of the forest, I wanted to make it for a long time, it took me a long time to think about how I wanted it to look, because I wanted the style to be semi realistic, but I also wanted to make many details and a landscape for it and it seemed too much for me, so I looked for references on Pinterest, and one that helps me a lot is Loish (on Instagram).
Hola amigos!! nuevamente participando en el concurso de arte, ahora con Spirit of the forest, hace tiempo que ya quería hacerla, tarde bastante pensando como quería que se viera, pues quería que el estilo fuera semi realista, pero también quería hacer muchos detalles y un paisaje para ella y me parecía mucho para mi, así que busque referencias en Pinterest, y una que me ayuda bastante es Loish (en Instagram).
I started sketching, in a very messy way, without fear, because the sketch is simply to get ideas, and see if you like what you see and then you give it shape, I wanted her to look relaxed in her world, so I decided to leave her sitting in a tree. with that I was placing the first forms, the background in one layer, the tree in another, and her in another. I wanted the tree to look old so I was painting musco and for that reason it also has such pronounced shapes in its bark.
Empecé bocetando, de manera muy desordenada, sin temor, porque el boceto es simplemente para sacar ideas, y ver si te gusta lo que ves y después se le va dando forma, quería que ella se viera relajada en su mundo, así que decidí por dejarla sentada en un árbol. con eso fui colocando las primeras formas, el fondo en una capa, el árbol en otra, y ella en otra. quería que el árbol se viera viejo así que fui pintando musco y por esa razón también tiene formas tan pronunciadas en su corteza.
I give light shadows to the drawing, and to her some variations in the skin, like blushes. To motivate myself, I give a jump to the illumination, although later I remove opacity and continue working the shadows, I make some light rays go through the foliage of the tree. When I give more detail to the clothing, I give it a texture, and I try to accentuate it by drawing in points, I darken some points of the hair, and so I keep working.
Le doy sombras leves al dibujo, y a ella algunas variaciones en la piel, como rubores. Para motivarme, doy un salto a la iluminación, aunque después le quito opacidad y sigo trabajando las sombras, hago que algunos rayos de luz atraviesen el follaje del árbol. Cuando doy mas detalle a la vestimenta, le doy una textura, y trato de acentuarla dibujando en puntos, oscurezco unos puntos del cabello, y así voy trabajando.
Already having well defined the shadows, I darken more the background to give more depth to the drawing, and I make those marks of light on the trunk and in it of the light that crosses the foliage of the tree, and the light does not vary in color, so I give pink and blue and yellow tones, finally I make a haze with blue tones, and highlight more some textures of the tree as some leaves, and I make small particles fly in the air, and give a more magical atmosphere.
Ya teniendo bien definidas las sombras, oscurezco mas el fondo para dar mas profundidad al dibujo, y hago esas marcas de luz en el tronco y en ella de la luz que atraviesa el follaje del árbol, y la luz no varia de color, así que doy tonos rosas y azules y amarillos, de ultimo hago una neblina con tonos azulados, y resalto mas algunas texturas del árbol como algunas hojas, y hago que pequeñas partículas vuelen en el aire, y dar un ambiente mas mágico
