‎Hello Worldmappin Community! ❤️✨

‎Today I want to share our visit to the Bastian Food Garden.

‎We went there around 10:30 in the morning just to eat some snacks.

‎We chose this place because aside from good food, we know they have animals that you can watch after eating.

‎Since we have kids with us, we knew this would be a place they would surely enjoy.

‎When we arrived, we were the only customers there! Haha.

‎I don’t know why there was no one else eating, but I can guarantee you that their food is really delicious.

‎Actually, this place is very special to us. This is actually the venue we chose when we got married!

‎They have a function hall here where we held our wedding reception, so coming back here brings back good memories.

‎For our meal, we just ordered a medium-sized Lomi.

‎It was just the right amount and enough for the four of us.

‎It was hot, tasty, and really filling.

‎After we finished eating, my son Aiden and I walked around the area, excited to see the animals in their cages.

‎I remember that in the past, this place had turtles, ostriches, and many other kinds of animals. But now, it seems they focus more on chickens and birds.

‎Those were the only animals we saw during our visit.

‎There was even a sign about the Philippine crocodile, but we didn't see one.

‎Maybe it was hiding underwater? Or maybe it’s not there anymore. I wasn't able to ask anyone around, so we just continued our walk. Haha.

‎Even though there were fewer animals than before, we were still amazed by what we saw.

‎I discovered that there are so many different kinds of chickens here.

‎There was this one that looked so cute and fluffy, and also one with really big and thick legs and feet! Haha.

‎There was also another one that looked like it was wearing a hat with a feather on top of its head. So unique!

‎We also saw two kinds of eagles: the White-breasted Sea Eagle and the Serpent Eagle. They looked so strong and majestic.

‎But what I enjoyed the most was seeing the Peacocks!

‎I didn't expect to see them here. There were 4 pairs of them. The first two were already displaying their beautiful, colorful tail feathers.

‎They looked so amazing and proud.

‎And guess what? There was also a White Peacock!

‎It was my first time seeing one in person.

‎I am used to seeing the colorful ones, but this white one looked so pure, clean, and innocent. Hihi.

‎The fourth one was just calm and didn't open its feathers, but it was still nice to see.

‎Before we left, we saw these two peacocks acting like they were fighting or competing with each other.

‎It was funny because they looked the same, like they were looking in a mirror! Haha.

‎There is also a playground here that kids will surely love, but because the weather was so hot, nobody wanted to play there. It was really burning hot!

‎Overall, it was a nice and simple experience at the Bastian Food Garden. Good food and nice animals to see.

Hope you enjoyed our virtual tour!

‎Until our next family bonding...

Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
