In a normal definition of family In school, we know that family is a group of people related by blood and that is where we have the father, mother and the children which is tagged as nuclear family and where More people come in is what we call the extended family but to my very own understanding I have seen a lot of things and I can't say that family is just beyond the father, mother and children when we look at what is happening in the world we will be convinced that People who are around you can also be called your family more than those who you tagged as real family, don't get me wrong because I will still explain and breakdown the reason why I said that and my view about what I see as family.

We can see many scenerio of people calling someone who they are not even related by blood family, why is it so? It always start from been a stranger to each other but the difference which this has is that you are bonded by blood and you live together and grow under same parent and same blood runs through you. Now from strangers, it is normal to turn to friends and from there the family mindset start setting in depending on the type of person. First we can't make everyone we meet along the line of our lives friends, not everyone will fit in as a friend for us talkless of talking about becoming a family.

So how do we differenciate friends

  • Still talking about family, I want to digress a little to talk about how we can differentiate friends and this will make one to know how to choose their friends before they become family so close to each other. Using the scenerio of two guys that met eachother in the university studying same course and they do things in common. Been a family doesn't means support will always be about money but time, advice, and real support with true love. At the begining I said not everyone can be your friends, some can be a business partner, some can be school mate, each category has its own and one shouldn't misjudge it as friendship.
  • Now a friend who turn family will have some characteristics, always supportive in all ways and ready to sacrifice a lot just for the person no matter the circumstances which they meet themselves, no backbiting of the person you call your family so. When two friends who are so into each other are always there for each other in all ways, they have fight also and will always settle, having each others back when others are saying bad about the person. A person there to hear you sad story out anytime you feel down, a family will be free to say what's bothering them to eachother because they feel so safe anytime they are with eachother.

Take note not all who are related by blood are called families but those who possess the characteristics of been called a family, always feel good to have people you can call family around you it feels so good and relaxed. Till next time here
