Our health and well-being is every living being priority. If you are not healthy, then, your essence of living is not worth it. When we will talk about health, it covers a broader spectrum of life. No just being a living individual, who breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide (CO4). A lot of person today suffer from one illnesses or the other. Some persons do say, they prefer to be mentally healthy than physically healthy, while others will say the prefer to be physically healthy than mentally healthy.
Whichever way you say it, I will prefer to tell you that, you are not healthy. Because when you talk about being healthy, we are talking about everything that come with being alive, and living to the fullness of it. When you live and you are limited to some certain things that a normal healthy person or individual should be allowed to do, then you should not be able to recognize or regard yourself as the healthy.
World Health Organization, "define health as a state where someone is completely Stable physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually, without the present of any disease condition or any other abnormalities that can occur or appear in individual." With this definition above, you will believe with me that nobody is completely Healthy.
We are all expected to be mentally and physically healthy, we need both of them and more to achieve a proper at the healthy living.
However, we are expected to create a balance between all the factors that make up a healthy living individual, which include physical, mental, social, and spiritually factors.
Physical health include, you not having any abnormality or any deformity present in the physical appearance of an individual. For you to be physically healthy you have to pay attention to environment and surrounding, and other genetic makeup of an individual. Also make sure that you don't outburn yourself with your daily activities. Stress alone can cause physical ill health.
One thing we must know is that, both physical and mental health work in-hand in-hand. When you have any physical challenges, automatically, it has a channel to affect you mentally.
Therefore, when you look forward to physical healthiness you must consider Mental health.
A lot of people today are facing many mental challenges because of physical issues.
To me, the matter of mental and physical health, is not just something I can pour out or talk about once in a single post.
It is important we balance both physical and mental health, because we can't actually do efficiently without any of this, as an individual.
Do you know, isolating yourself from people or your environment have a way of affecting you mentally. Have people you call friends, true one I mean, those who you can share your challenges and it will be resolved and not escalated.
Sometimes, depression causes much hurt than we can ever imagine, And in most cases we don't see it coming, until it hit us, because we always keep it to ourselves.
One other thing I have come to realize that help in both physical and mental health growth, is exercise. This exercise help us relaxes our muscles and at the same time help us to relax some nerves, which assist in mental health well-being. Engaging in exercise from time to time is also a way of balancing both mental and physical health.
