Hi all!

Today, I'm sharing with you some artworks I found in the Town campus of Uniuyo, Uyo.
These are stunning art works I couldn't take my eyes off when I saw them. They were made by some ex students as their final year project.

The first in line is this giant sculpture of a warrior with a shield in his left hand and a spear on right. The inscription entails "An Arondizuogwu Warrior", meaning a warrior from Arondiziuogwu - A name of a communityin Igbo land.

A skull sign can be seen on his big shield. That could probably represent fearless.

A dead man's head lays on the ground as he walked past it with with eagerness to slay more.

Just a little distance behind it is this eye catching piece of art done with fiber. There stood a slave with just a little piece of rag covering his nakedness. His hand held towards the back and tied with a chain. His legs were also tied with chains and locked to prevent him from running or escaping.

A close look in his face, you could see pains, long suffering and hunger.

His head is looking up as though he is asking his creator when his freedom will finally come.

The next is another fiber work placed on a large wall along the road. It depicts a woman standing and cooking with a big pot. You can see her holding a long spoon and a plate. She is on a traditional outfit.
