In light of improving my drawing skills and creativity, I came up with an idea of drawing and making sketches every day.
From this day onwards to the end of the month, I would be practicing everyday and monitoring how far I can go or have gone.
So today's drawing is the Crucifixion of Christ. I made use of pen which is my favourite medium.
As you can see in the drawing, Christ is feeling the pain of bruises which he got from the flogging by the knights of Pilate ( Mark 15:15)
His mouth is wide open as he gasp in pains and agony.
However, his pain on that cross is my gain on earth.

Step 1:
Outline sketching. At this stage I also made adjustment where I found is improper.
Step 2:
Building my forms. I first applied tones on the sticks (cross) before moving to his face.
Step 3:
The final stage. I worked on his torso - body and two hands.
As you can see from the drawing, my strokes can be seen; some are scattered strikes some are harmonized. The strokes are also diagonal, horizontal, coiled and curvy.
