Today's sketch is a pen drawing of Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender. My motive was to keep it simple and focus on his calm expression while using cross-hatching to build the shadows and give the face a bit more depth.
I always enjoy practicing with pen because every line counts, and it helps me become more confident with my strokes.
