Traxia has become the first official ICO to launch on the Cardano blockchain, representing an huge step forward for the platform. Cardano (ADA) is said to be more advanced than it’s blockchain competitors, and is often nicknamed the “Japanese Ethereum”.
Traxia is implementing blockchain technology to provide an innovative solution for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and their common lack of cash liquidity.
The idea is not a new one, and it’s earned the name factoring. It’s used commonly in business to trade unpaid invoices for much needed cash flow.
The Traxia ecosystem will provide an intuitive interface for its users which allows them to interact with the blockchain with ease. The project aims to use the newfound technology while continuing to use fiat currencies to ensure market acceptance.
Traxia’s next step is to take their current infrastructure and build it using the Cardano ecosystem.
Cardano has been built using peer-reviewed academic research and was chosen as a partner due to what Traxia believes is its “superior technology”. The general goal with blockchain is to provide innovative solutions to existing industries, and Traxia picked an enormous market. Cardano’s investment firm was quick to support Traxia in its earliest stages, taking note of the $43 trillion in accounts receivable available in any given day, and that banks are only financing about 7% of it.
While debates about whether Cardano possesses the capability to support a major project like Traxia continue, the ICO campaign stands to provide Cardano with potential for massive upward scale, and quickly.
