Hello my friends!

Today I have a celebration post that I want to share with you, talking about my personal journey.

Has far back has I can remember martial arts where always one of my main fascination. However life would have it so, that I would only really start training later in my life.

My two main arts are: Brazilian Ju Jitsu and Jeet Kune Do.

Again a year and a half ago due to some mistakes in my personal life, I had to stop my training... this was really bad since, I had a big break just before. I was coming back to it, all motivated and bam... I had to stop it.

But the good news is ... I'm back!!!!

Very happy to say so.

I'm training Jeet Kune Do and I'm loving it. I've had a couple of training sessions by now, I must admit It's still quite hard, I get tired easily, I don't remember a lot of things and my body hurts quite a bit the day after. But that's ok, soon I'll get the rhythm. For now I'll just enjoy the recovery. I'm also starting to get my nutrition back in shape, small steps.

One thing I'll try and do is develop a method so that I won't stop training again... Get some tips, tricks, techniques that even if I have to travel for 2 months I'll find a way to train and keep it up. This is one reason why I fell this come back is even more important, because I'm really gonna try and not stop for long, nothing more than a couple weeks of holidays at some point.

It's been so long with so many obstacles for me to start again... that I just had to share this with you.

If you don't know what Jeet Kune Do is: It's the Martial Art developed by Bruce Lee and it's the first "Mixed Martial Art" (Let me know if you want a post talking about the art itself)

If by any chance you're in Portugal and want to try it out, send soshin@soshin a message.
