We don't always need a lot of colors to make our life bright and vibrant. Sometimes the shapes and designs life overs can speak even louder than any color could do. Especially in Japan where even after several years, so much still feels so exotic and exciting. On some days I am feeling as if I just entered the country for the very first time, and then I am gazing at all the things which appear in front of my eyes. Of course the very big excitement and surprises have already worn of a little and given place to some warm and rather homely and familiar feeling, which shows me that I have really come to like this country here.
Often Japan is just too flashy and bright, exactly as many people imagine it. But there are so many places which tone down the pace and set you back for a moment. I guess that is where I am drawn too and where I simply feel the best. I am glad not only this country, but life offers all of us so many choices and opportunities. We can't always grab them all and go for it, but there is no way that I will give up aiming for the sky. These days, when the new year is still unfolding, I am feeling that I am still doing alright. I didn't get to the moon or beyond, but I am able to enjoy life quite much. Sure I hope I can do even better in the coming months, but sometimes we should just stop, breathe and enjoy the moment.
~ PEACE !
