Rolls-Royce will develop the self-under repair "clever" engines
During a February air show in Singapore the Rolls-Royce company presented the new concept of development of planes under the name "IntelligentEngine". It is continuation of the TotalCare program and is designed to move away finally the person from process of service of motive systems. To teach to be motors so clever that they could repair and modernize themselves.
In Rolls-Royce hurry to warn: implementation of the concept of IntelligentEngine "in metal" will begin even not in the near future. The task is too difficult for the present level of robotics and AI. And here organizational and information components will begin to be studied already in the current year. More precisely, within a year the detailed scheme of work IntelligentEngine will also be created and submitted.
