We are coming up to yet another near end of season in Splinterlands and the time for rental demand reaching peak demand. Will this season top last season and become overall breakout of most rentals ever?
Prices for rentals have been dipping season after season and it remains to be the trend. Meanwhile surprisingly the demand for renting cards have continue to rise season after season.

To this very day I do not believe the cryptocurrency space is apperciating the accomplishment Splinterlands has achieved in regards to NFTs delegation, ownership, and rental. The several options to use the NFTs are just first of its kind and very popular through and through in game.
Overall market cap of the NFT collection continues to fall in price leading to the continuous fall in rental prices. Ideal one would how this slow down trend will reverse but since overall cryptocurrency market has also been trending down it will take time before Splinterlands will see price appreciation.
This leads me to believe this upcoming end of season rentals will yield the least amount of income for lenders while renting out the most amount of collection power yet.
Even in my own account I have dropped in earnings for lending out my NFTs for now the third consecutive seasons. I have adjusted my price rates yet again to the down side in hopes the cards get rented out.
What is increasingly concerning is that DEC price remains low relative to where it was just a few seasons ago. In addition the amount of DEC rewarded in rank battles for lower leagues continue to fall. As of now I am yielding 6 DEC in gold league when my ECR bar is at 100%.
Will look back at the end of season to see how my rentals earnings turn out and compare it to past seasons but for now am cautiously optimistic about current season reaching new heights in the rental market.
