In the latest Town hall meeting Aggy snuck in a few golden nuggets regarding the current status of Soul Keep. What stood out the most is that he mentioned alpha packs no longer on sale and had not decided how to approach beta packs and beyond. From that discussion it seems clear to me that the current packs being traded on open market are alpha packs.
For a low 6 to 7 hives one can snatch a Nightmare pack in the open markets. This would give you access to the alphas that are supposedly now out of print. Over a 50% discount and being one of the most prized set of assets for the upcoming Soul Keep release it makes it easy to see why this deal is a great bargain.
Like everything else in crypto this isn’t financial advice but just for reference we know how lucrative legacy packs values rose in alpha and beta packs for Splinterlands. What is to say Soul Keep would match with the same prospects?
