I recently started playing dcity and as of yesterday reach top 200 ranking. It took about a week of saving enough Hive to purchase enough workers and buildings, but glad I made it.

For those who are new to the game its not the graphics or game play that makes this game interesting and exciting. It is having the ability to gain a return on investment for the cryptocurrency invested. I see the game as having players spend time determining how best to use their Hive and SIM to create the biggest city possible. The theme is to maintain a city that can be self sustaining while producing more SIM and having a larger people population.

Proof dcity game is in demand!

Sim is the in game token mostly used to purchase more people and building. It can be produced daily depending on the city's Sim production. As of today the game has dramatically boomed. We are witnessing historic event for dcity as the demand for Sim has dramatically risen to 150% of the par value. Sim originally designed to be 1 Sim = 0.004 Hive, is now currently trading at 0.006 and may continue to rise!

dcity getting game updates!

Another exciting event happening to the game is the current creator gerber@gerber is introducing updates to the game to make playing dcity even more realistic. By using taxes and other forms of workers and buildings. Plenty of new strategies should be implemented to get the best ROI out of this game such as in real life we spend our time working for fiat currency.

Take a look at what gerber@gerber summarized on the new updates:

• 1 income tax - based on SIM price
This one is based on the average SIM token price over the last 3 days, when price goes down, this tax should go up and decrease inflation and vice versa when the token price going up. If price is 0.005 Hive per 1 SIM this tax = 0%.

• 2 police tax - funding police
The President funds the police with this tax, and can make it work 4x better. 1% tax.

• 3 education tax - funding education
The President can boost education by 10% but it will cost players 5% of their daily income.

• 4 art tax - tax to fund Artists
The President can boost creativity by 10% but it will cost players 5% of daily income.

• 5 war tax - funding war
When The President declares war, players pay a 10% tax and 80% of that goes to the Military Industrial Complex (one of the new upcoming buildings) owners.

• 6 eco tax - tax for eco program
For a 5% tax The President can boost income from Wind Turbines and Solar Panels (new buildings).

• 7 jobs tax - funding jobs program
For a 5% tax The President can double the effects of the Job Agency (a new building with an effect on training)

• 8 basic tax - just basic tax
Basic tax from 1-20%. The President can use it to reduce SIM inflation.
should go down in next few days as SIM is close to 0.005

Auction Battle with Defeat

When I started the game I started competing in the game's auction for building that is won every 40 - 72 hours. I missed out on the last auction as friendly stever82@stever82 out bid me in a battle for a police station. I am currently saving up to purchase my first police station and remain positive although I will have to pay a little more. Congrats to stever82 on beating me.

If you have yet to try the game please take a look into it at dcity.io. There is an initial investment required to play the game and the primary cryptocurrencies to start are Hive and Sim. Get on the official game discord channel to learn more. Best of luck to all city builders!
