If I had to imagine a place where art and history flow in parallel, it would undoubtedly be the Col贸n Cemetery. Alongside the Chinese Cemetery, they share a common language: that of their constructions. Sculptures, columns, buildings, stories that whisper among the stones, and time trying to make them disappear, but without success.
The Chinese Cemetery is small, but it greets you with an environmental serenity full of traditions. Shapes, symbols, figures鈥攅verything is filled with spirituality and connection.
The Col贸n Cemetery, on the other hand, is another story. Imposing architecture, elaborate sculptures, mausoleums鈥攊t all amounts to a visual feast. Funerary art at its finest 馃檹馃従
At first, I had my doubts about visiting these places. They are sites to be respected for what they represent. But then you discover that there are also stories waiting to be found.
Next time you visit, take a moment to contemplate. Feel the history surrounding you in every design鈥攅ach one seeking to honor what it represents.

Si tuviera que imaginar un lugar donde el arte y la historia fluyeran a la par, ser铆a sin dudas el Cementerio de Col贸n. Junto al cementerio Chino, comparte un lenguaje com煤n: el de sus construcciones. Esculturas, columnas, edificaciones, historias que susurran entre piedras y el tiempo tratando de desaparecerlas, pero sin 茅xito.
El Cementerio Chino es peque帽o, pero te recibe con una serenidad ambiental llena de tradiciones. Formas, s铆mbolos, figuras, todo lleno de espiritualidad y conexi贸n.
El Cementerio de Col贸n por su parte es otra historia. Arquitectura imponente, esculturas elaboradas, mausoleos, todo resulta un fest铆n para la vista. Arte funerario en su m谩xima expresi贸n 馃檹馃従
Al principio tuve mis dudas de pasar por estos lugares, son sitios que se respetan por lo que representan, pero luego descubres que tambi茅n hay historias.
La pr贸xima vez que los visites, contempla, siente la historia que te rodea en cada dise帽o que adem谩s, busca honrar lo que representa.
