On Thanksgiving morning, Bitcoin was at $8100. During my Thanksgiving dinner, bitcoin dropped to $7900. I remember that I had my phone next to me, ready to make a trade if BTC dropped to $7800. For those that follow the charts, you know that instead of dropping those $100 that I was hoping for, BTC rose to $10,000. I missed a HUGE buying opportunity to make a nice chunk of money. Although the price of BTC dropped today, it's not the same as it was on Thanksgiving day. On that day, that door closed for me.

So what were my options?

1. Remain absolutely still; waiting for the next drop in Bitcoin and mentally hitting myself for not buying when I should have.
2. Make money moves and look for another investment opportunity.

Although I did kick myself for not seeing the Bitcoin buying opportunity, I did not do it for very long. There are now thousands of cryptos out there and so having tunnel vision on just one of them doesn't make a lot of sense. Taking this into consideration, I looked elsewhere and found the ethereum killer, EOS.

The day after Thanksgiving, EOS was valued at $1.88. I did some research, technical analysis, and came to the conclusion that it was a great buy. All of this paid off because I made a nice profit of 50% of my initial investment after EOS reached an all-time high of $3.38.

I'm not telling you guys this because I feel like bragging. I'm telling you this because I want everyone to understand that when one door closes, there is another door available for you to walk through. There will always be an opportunity out there for you. Unfortunately, we may get some bad timing and miss one here and there. But that doesn't mean we should give up altogether!

If for whatever reason, you miss a great opportunity, get back on your feet and go back on the hunt. The only way you will get an opportunity is if you actively look for it.
