Insects that have the title "father pucung" is easily found in a green environment. Not only green but also supporting life, these insects will love to play in the foliage or sometimes perch on the flowers. But now it is not easy to find this insect in the yard, where are you father pucung?
A striking orange color combined in black emerged from behind a green leaf, an interested little boy approached and noticed the colors. The striking color behind the leaves is an insect Dysdercus cingulatus. Insects from the Pyrrhocoridae family are easily captured by bare hands, other than because the striking colors of these 11 - 17 mm insects also rarely fly.
Plants from the cotton-kapasan family (malvaceae) are the favorite places of this insect. So this insect was also known by the name of red cotton bug. His unexpected presence on the plantation made Dysdercus cingulatus considered a pest.
