Revisando mis apuntes (cuaderno de recetas que llevo organizado) encontré una frase que usó un instructor en la MasterClass que terminé hace algunas semanas, de momento quizás estaba centrada en la parte práctica y solo recurrí a mi bolígrafo para anotar lo que causó ruido a mis oídos. En varias oportunidades esta persona se refirió a la frase: “¡Aprender y emprender!” ¿Les parece curiosa? Ciertamente, la dejó muy bien adecuada a varios contextos especialmente a quienes estamos enfocados en el emprendimiento.
Reviewing my notes (recipe notebook that I keep organized) I found a phrase that an instructor used in the MasterClass I finished a few weeks ago, at the moment perhaps I was focused on the practical part and I just resorted to my pen to write down what caused noise to my ears. On several occasions this person referred to the phrase: "Learn and undertake!" Do you find it curious? He certainly left it very well suited to various contexts especially to those of us who are focused on entrepreneurship.
Aunque cada contexto se iba adecuando perfectamente, en definitiva esa frase quedó guardada en mi mente ya que hay momentos donde encaja perfectamente. Ahora bien, ya sabemos que el emprendimiento nace a través de una idea pero, ¿Qué sucede cuando no tenemos el conocimiento para comenzar a materializar esa “idea”? ¡Ok! Entonces, te toca aprender para emprender. ¡Vaya! De esta manera lo he aplicado durante los últimos meses, con resultados positivos y negativos que van dejando sin duda alguna un aprendizaje significativo en mi emprendimiento.
Although each context was adapting perfectly, in the end that phrase stayed in my mind because there are moments where it fits perfectly. Now, we already know that entrepreneurship is born through an idea but, what happens when we do not have the knowledge to begin to materialize that "idea"? Ok! Then, you have to learn to undertake. Wow! In this way I have applied it during the last months, with positive and negative results that are leaving without any doubt a significant learning in my entrepreneurship.
Otro contexto muy claro y también oportuno para la frase que hice mención se trata de la relación COSTO (ingredientes)-CALIDAD (producto terminado) he aquí mi preocupación más actual, para nadie es un secreto la inestabilidad económica que golpea a todos los venezolanos desde hace varios años y el incremento de los productos alimenticios es casi a diario sin control alguno. Adquirir la materia prima para la repostería representa un dolor de cabeza ya que, no puedo mantener la estabilidad en los precios y en ciertos momentos me causa intranquilidad, recuerdo cuando el instructor decía “aprender no es solamente que se apropien de las técnicas adecuadamente sino también buscar alternativas para adquirir la materia prima a buen precio” ¡Que acertado comentario! En mi ciudad estos productos son muy costosos y por esta razón la estructura de costo para pasteles también resulta elevada, pero ¿Qué pasó? Aprendí a comprar por internet productos mayormente sin costo de envió y actualmente mis proveedores en materia prima son vía online. ¡Aprendí a comprar para emprender! Ja,ja,ja
Another very clear and timely context for the phrase I mentioned is the relationship COST (ingredients) - QUALITY (finished product) here is my most current concern, for no one is a secret the economic instability that has hit all Venezuelans for several years and the increase of food products is almost daily without any control. Acquiring the raw material for the pastry represents a headache because I can not maintain stability in prices and at certain times it causes me uneasiness, I remember when the instructor said "learning is not only that they appropriate the techniques properly but also look for alternatives to acquire the raw material at a good price" What an accurate comment! In my city these products are very expensive and for this reason the cost structure for cakes is also high, but what happened? I learned to buy online products mostly without shipping cost and now my raw material suppliers are online. I learned to buy to start a business! Ha,ha,ha,ha
Por último pero no menos importante, estrategias de ventas o uso de redes sociales como promoción de productos sin duda alguna ha tomado gran fuerza en la actualidad, muchas veces vemos fotografías en internet que nos deleitan el paladar e inmediatamente pensamos que son hechas por profesionales y estamos muy lejos de lograr algo “aceptable” visualmente para nuestro público. ¿Qué sucede cuando no eres profesional en fotografías/edición y quieres deleitar a tu audiencia? Nos toca “aprender” estrategias que nos ayuden a atraer a esos futuros clientes. En este punto, busque alternativas como canvas (editor gratis) y mejoré el uso adecuado de la luz al momento de tomar fotos a los productos ya listos ¡totalmente gratis! No soy profesional en fotografía y muchos menos en edición para lograr las siguientes promociones.
Last but not least, sales strategies or the use of social networks as product promotion has undoubtedly taken great strength today, many times we see pictures on the internet that delight our palate and we immediately think they are made by professionals and we are far from achieving something visually "acceptable" for our audience. What happens when you are not a professional in photography/editing and you want to delight your audience? It's up to us to "learn" strategies that will help us attract those future clients. At this point, I looked for alternatives such as canvas (free editor) and improved the proper use of light when taking pictures of ready-made products, totally free! I am not a professional in photography and much less in editing to achieve the following promotions.
