After many times of Johnson embarrassing himself on the podium during quiz competition. Johnson was thinking deeply on how to win the upcoming final round National quiz competition. Deep in thought, he didn't notice the presence of his father and sister.

His father called his name three times before he was back to reality.

"Dad, am sorry I was deep in thought" Johnson said.

"What is bothering my little hero" he asked.

"Dad ,it's the National quiz competition coming up soon, I was selected to represent my school again and I have this feeling it won't end up nice".

"Son , I know the feeling when you have tried several things twice, thrice and there is no positive result, but believe you are a hero, you can win anything because you are smart and brilliant. Believe in yourself, keep working harder". His father said.

"Dad , this is the not the first time my school is putting their trust in me, I have been nothing but am embarrassment to myself, to you and to my school. How sure are mine this time will be difference?" Johnson said.

Then, Johnson's sister who has been in the house listening to their conversation, stepped in.

"Bro, just like I heard dad said, believe you can conquer this, we have much trust in you, your school have much believe in you,you just need to see what is lacking and fix it". She said.

Johnson was amazed at how much encouragement, love and support his dad and sister have shown him.

Johnson began intensive practice, working hard, reading, learning spellings. His dad seeing his efforts towards this competition, employed Mrs Robinson a well known English tutor to coach him.

"Johnson, I believe you want to be the first in this competition"? Mrs Robinson asked.

"Yes" Johnson answered.

"What are your weaknesses? You are very brilliant, that's why your school keeps selecting you to represent them in competitions".

"My weaknesses include fear of failure and fear of public speaking,my last time representing my school in a competition,I was sweating profusely and I fainted immediately I dropped the microphone. That was an embarrassment to myself and school. Am very scared, that will repeat again. Also, when I find out my competitors are having higher points than me, I begin to develop this feeling of I'm a failure." Johnson replied.

"You don't need your weakness to cause your downfall, next time, when they are ahead of you, when they make you feel intimated, proof to them that can't pull you down". Also, you need to build your confidence, feel like you are the biggest in the house once you pick up the microphone. Can you do that for me,your dad, sister and your school? Mrs Robinson asked.

"Yes I can" said Johnson.

After series of intensive teaching, coaching and practice. The day for the final National spelling Bee competition came. One of the competitors approached Johnson and said "you are just going to be the last with no reward to show". Johnson smiled without saying a word.

Each of the competitors were given 60 seconds to spell 10 words. When it was Johnson's turn, he was able to outshine most of his competitors by spelling 7 words correctly out of 10.

After the final round, the quiz master announced the results and Johnson although did not happen to be the first runner up, he was the second runner up. He did not only make himself proud, he made his father, sibling, Mrs Robinson and his school proud.

A banner of Johnson was designed and hung in front of his school with the tag: "A boy with a difference." Johnson's victory did not only make him "G.O.A.T" of his school, he was also famous and awarded scholarship by the organisers of the competition.
