This topic is one that everyone will have a personal view on what a fulfilled life means to them. For me, a fulfilled life means two major things to me and the rest are additional. My happiness is a priority and one thing that keeps my happiness balance is being financially stable.
Yeah, we do hear money doesn't give life but it helps preserve it. Being financially secure saves us from lots of bullshit. It's from being financially free that opens us with the privilege to pursue opportunities and our passion without 'how I wish I just have ...' cries.
One thing that is like an inbuilt in my bloodline is helping others. There is this extraordinary joy that feels my heart when I see myself making others see reason to be happy. Putting a smile on others' faces does not end in material things, it goes beyond that, volunteering to assist someone with something, a service that has a positive impact are ways.
Living a fulfilling life also centers on letting people know how grateful I am in any favor they have shown me. Knowing that nothing is too small and practicing gratitude in anything received help so much in valuing the giver instead of the item. There was this habit I had before which I'm grateful I have overcome.
When I receive a favor from someone, saying thank you would be difficult, sometimes I say it just once and due to the person's response, I feel that the person does not appreciate my thank you or does not see it to be genuine enough and that stops me from making further attempt of saying it again for them to the know I truly appreciate their act of generosity. Another aspect is starting a family. Trying to build my own home the same way my parents built theirs and brought my siblings.
