Hello hive , how are you doing all I hope we all are fine .
Today I will like to share with you all how I made this liquid soap, after my youth service early this February I return back to my family house and I'm yet to open my own tailoring shop or secure a white collar job, instead of sleeping everyday at home without any source of income so i thought of doing something small within the house by doing what I learnt in my service year (soap Making)...
How I made this liquid soap......
Chemical used.
SLS ( sodium lauryl sulphate )
Nitrosol
STPP ( sodium tripolyphoshate)
Sulphonic acid
Soda Ash ( sodium Carbondate)
Caustic soda
SLS ( sodium Laurel sulphate)
Texapon
Preservative
Perfume oil
Colour
I will be explaining the function of each of this chemical.
I used 20litres of water to make this liquid soap.
Before you start making liquid soap soak the SLS with half litre of water and stir it for some minute and keep it aside for later used , after that nitrosol act as a thickner in the liquid soap it is the first chemical added to water when making liquid soap stir for 10mins use 1 cup of water to mixed it, STPP it thicken and help increase the foaming body the soap mixed with 1 cup of water,
Sulphonic acid is mixed with 1 litre of water
Soda Ash,this serve as a stain remover in your soap and it remove dirt mixed with 1 cup of water +1 quarter cup, caustic soda, this chemical is highly corrosive it remove dirt in cloth and dishes quantity used half cup
After mixed add the soaked SLS and the foam booster half cup of the foaming properties of the liquid soap, texapon it act as a binder in the liquid soap.
After all the chemical are mixed in different bowl I added all the chemical to the main large quantities of water and I added preservative and perfume oil to give it a nice smile and then 1 tea spoon of colour to beautify it then stir it properly until it is mixed together, then the soap is ready to use.
Final look and ready for sell
I'm glad I was able to do this small scale business to keep myself busy I hope u all find this post helpful I will appreciate your Lovely comment stay blessed and stay safe for my next post.
