I have seen the blood of innocent cases
Slain the most vicious of foes
Looked upon faces of the most beautiful lasses
Robbed of their deepest of hopes by war
At the end of the day, all is silent
Among the compatriots
As the rest of the kingdom cheers over the victory
We drag our fallen off the fields of battle
What a price to pay
For a people to assert themselves
For their place in this world
It doesn't have to be this way
(Set at a time when being at war was the epitome of governance).
