Found this fella sitting pretty on the grass, only to realise a few seconds later that it's actually dead. Eyes 'wide open'.
I can't tell if it's old age or something else that killed it. Maybe a cat, and don't find it fit for eating. The hind leg looks like its squished though.
The underbelly. Was it about to lay eggs? Are those just stomach parts?
