Five Years on Hive: A Journey Worth Celebrating!

Guess what? Yesterday marked my five-year anniversary on hive, I couldn't believe it, but then it's just the truth. From November 2021 to November 2026. It feels so good; I saw the notification from @hivebuzz, and I was wowed. I didn't even want to write about it before, but then again, looking back at how far I've come, it's worth penning down some things.

To be honest with you, it hasn't been smooth, but it has been beautiful. It has been a great time. A whole five years of learning, growing, engaging, connecting, writing, and reading from the various amazing people on here. And it will be important to add that my journey hasn't been without breaks. There was a time I stopped writing on hive, I was off hive for about two years. Life happened then, and it's just so happened that I had to step back from writing on here. Later in 2024 I found my way back, and since then, I've been very very active.

Hive is a great place, and I love it. I love it for giving everyone a chance to be heard and seen. I love it because you don't have to be an expert or a professional to do or share something or value here; so far it has been out, and you're willing to learn as well, then go ahead and do your thing... With time, you will get better.

Also, hive has been helpful too when it comes to my finances. I've lost count of how many times I've had to come on here to withdraw my earnings, not because I always wanted to, but because life can be very demanding and there are important things to always get sorted. And I'm grateful to hive for always coming through. I'm as well grateful for the people I've got to meet on here and the communities I've been a part of. The encouragement, love, support, friendship, and all make this journey worthwhile. Big shout-out to @neoxian and the discord family. You're the best.

I can't conclude this piece without making a big shout-out to my bro, @vickoly. He's been such a wonderful, supportive, and amazing person. Words won't be enough to describe how grateful I am to you, sir. Thanks for all you do. And to @samostically, thanks to you, bro. Thanks for all you do; none of it goes unnoticed, and I really appreciate it all much more than you know.

This is five years later, and I'm still here.... Growing, learning, engaging, and connecting. In-between, I'm open to even more on hive.
