First off, I will like to say that family today has gone beyond people who are connected by blood, a lot of people who we are not related to can as well be our family. Someone who loves you genuinely, can sacrifice for you and supports you is as well a family. And when we talk about bonds, it is that invisible connection that keeps people close even when things does not look like it.
My family for example is one that I love so much, not because we don't have issues or disagreement, but because we understand each other very well. A lot of things that we do and dhee together made our bond so strong... Talk of how we pray together, check in on one another, help each other, laugh over old memories and even celebrate each other's big and little wins... Wholeheartedly.
To strength the any type of bond, be it between couples, family, friends and all, some things are very important. Talk of quality time and attention, communication, supporting each other, listening to one another... Not listening to argue or fight, but listening to really understand. We can as well add having a forgiving heart, showing appreciation, doing things together and a lot more. No family is perfect, no relationship is either, but we just need to always understand one another.
And there's something about knowing that you're loved, appreciated, seen, and valued. It helps us in every way, also knowing that we are not alone in any situation we find ourselves in.
And I also believe that family plays a huge role in our quest to achieve greatness. Because when we get faced with challenges, problems and such, family will always come through for us, either to help, support, encourage, or even help bare the weight.
In conclusion, I will love to add that the world is no longer how it used to be. A lot of things has changed, even still family bond remains one of life's biggest blessings.
