Un Pez iba por el fondo del mar
caminando con tranquilidad,
encontró un lote que en venta está
y decidió que lo iba a comprar.
Hizo el negocio con aceleración
y a su nuevo trozo de mar regresó,
trajo consigo un gran almohadón
y en este se recostó.
A fish was swimming along the ocean floor,
swimming calmly,
when he came across a plot of sea that was for sale
and decided to buy it.
He closed the deal in a flash
and returned to his new piece of the sea,
bringing with him a large pillow
on which he lay down.
Al despertar, bien no sé sintió,
el dolor de espalda lo incómodo,
el suelo marino muy duro resultó
y se fue a comprar algo para dormir mejor.
Tras un rato regresó
y un tiempo después un domicilio llegó,
compró una cama marrón,
que flota y dónde dormirá mejor.
When he woke up, he didn't feel quite right,
his backache was uncomfortable,
the seabed turned out to be very hard,
so he went out to buy something to help him sleep better.
He returned after a while,
and a little later, a delivery arrived;
he had bought a brown bed,
one that floats and where he'll sleep better.
Se acostó en la cama para ensayar
la grandiosa suavidad
se durmió de más
hasta que un erizo lo vino a buscar.
Era un compañero del trabajo,
se asustaron porque no había llegado
el pez se fue a laborar con agrado
contento, porque logró descansar sobre su colchón recién comprado.
He lay down on the bed to experience
its wonderful softness
and overslept
until a hedgehog came looking for him.
It was a coworker;
they were worried because he hadn’t shown up.
The fish went to work happily,
content because he’d been able to rest on his newly purchased mattress.
