La naturaleza tiene tantas bondades que cada pieza de ella podemos ocuparla en cosas necesarias para hacer nuestra vida más fácil, en mi patio tengo muchas plantas y ellas van dejando bastantes cosas utiles y se me ocurrió recoger algunas ramas secas para hacer esta linda manualidad, acompáñame y te comparto cómo hacer un lindo matero con ramas secas y pasto 🪾🌱❤️

Nature has so many bounties that we can use every bit of it to make our lives easier. I have many plants in my yard, and they leave behind quite a few useful things. I thought I'd collect some dry branches to make this lovely craft. Join me as I share how to make a cute planter with dry branches and grass. 🪾🌱❤️

Con ramas secas hay una infinidad de cosas que podemos hacer, como esterillas, manteles individuales, pavos entre otros, mi idea era hacer algo bonito pero que tuviera utilidad, en lo personal me gustan mucho las plantas , así que me gustó mucho la idea de hacer un lindo matero con estas ramas y colocar en ella algún tipo de planta que sea colgante, aquí te dejo la lista de materiales a utilizar :

• ramas secas
• pasto común
• hilo pabilo o del que tengas a la mano
• sierra para cortar las ramas
• tijeras
• tierra o abono
• plantas 🌱

There are countless things we can make with dry branches, such as mats, placemats, turkeys, among others. My idea was to make something beautiful but also useful. Personally, I really like plants, so I really liked the idea of making a nice flowerpot with these branches and placing some type of hanging plant in it. Here's the list of materials to use:

• dry branches
• common grass
• wicker thread or whatever you have on hand
• saw to cut the branches
• scissors
• soil or compost
• plants 🌱

Vamos a comenzar reuniendo muchas ramas secas de árboles no importa el grosor, es importante que sean un poco rectas y que también probemos la resistencia de estas, ya que hay unas que parten con mucha facilidad, para esto podemos intentar doblarlas un poco, si vemos que parten las descartamos y las que intentemos doblar y se mantengan las vamos dejando para nuestro proyecto, luego con una sierra pequeña vamos a cortarlas, debemos tratar de que nos queden todas del mismo tamaño.

We are going to start by gathering a lot of dry tree branches, no matter how thick they are. It is important that they are somewhat straight and that we also test their resistance, since there are some that break very easily. For this, we can try to bend them a little. If we see that they break, we discard them, and those that we try to bend and that stay, we will leave them for our project. Then, with a small saw, we are going to cut them. We should try to make them all the same size.

Cuándo tengamos ya todas nuestras ramas listas vamos a comenzar con el procedimiento para unirlas, para esto vamos a necesitar hilo del que tengas a la mano, en mi caso conseguí hilo pabilo color marrón, me gustó este color ya que puede camuflarse con las ramas y no se notará mucho.

Vamos a cortar una tira de hilo de aproximadamente 1 m de largo para cada unión que quieras hacerle a tu proyecto de ramas, en mi caso voy a hacer sólo dos uniones con hilo, pero se le pueden hacer varios para que se vea decorativo, yo voy a colocar las ramitas intercaladas comenzando por una de las más gruesas luego le coloco algunas finas y otras medianas y así sigo la secuencia hasta terminar, vamos a hacer nudos entre cada ramita para irlas sosteniendo.

Once we have all our branches ready, we'll begin the process of joining them together. For this, we'll need whatever thread you have on hand. In my case, I got brown wick thread. I liked this color because it blends in with the branches and won't be very noticeable.

We'll cut a strip of thread approximately 1 m long for each joint you want to make for your branch project. In my case, I'll only make two thread joints, but you can make several to make it look decorative. I'll place the twigs interspersed, starting with one of the thickest, then adding some thinner ones and some medium-sized ones, and continuing the sequence until finished. We'll tie knots between each twig to hold them together.

Para el siguiente paso vamos a preparar el pasto para colocarle en la parte interna, mi matero será colgante, allí voy a colocar un tipo de planta que también es colgante, el pasto lo voy a reunir en pequeños grupitos y lo voy a ir anudando igual como anudamos las ramas secas, luego lo corto en las orillas para que me quede del mismo tamaño de las ramas secas esto será para poder sostener la tierra o el abono que le coloquemos en la parte interna.

Una sugerencia cuando hagas manualidades con ramitas o pasto no tengas a tus gatos Cerca, ja ja fue bastante complicado poder tejer el pasto ya que mi gato no quería dejarme quieta, a ellos les gusta mucho jugar con este tipo de pasto y hasta se lo comen 😂

For the next step, we're going to prepare the grass to place inside. My planter will be hanging. I'm going to place a type of plant that also hangs. I'm going to gather the grass into small clumps and knot it the same way we tied the dry branches. Then I'll cut the edges so it's the same size as the dry branches. This will help hold the soil or fertilizer we put inside.

A suggestion: when making crafts with twigs or grass, don't have your cats nearby. Haha, it was quite complicated to weave the grass since my cat didn't want to leave me alone. They really like to play with this type of grass and even eat it. 😂

Ya para nuestro paso final vamos a colocarle las tiras de hilo en las 4 puntas del matero para poder colgarlo, Luego le colocamos en la parte interna tierra mojada para que se vaya sosteniendo, yo primero le coloqué un poco de aserrin mojado que tengo en mi patio, luego le coloqué un poco de tierra mojada, fui apretando y luego le coloqué las ramas de la planta

Este tipo de planta tiene una gran ventaja, ella nace muy fácil, así que sé que dentro de unos días estará frondosa y muy bonita,, al colgar nuestro matero se le dará la forma, para más seguridad si lo vas a hacer de este modelo puedes colocarle algo a los lados para evitar que se le caiga la tierra, en mi caso se me sostuvo muy bien a medida que iba colocándola y apretándola y así ya tenemos listo este lindo matero con materiales que nos obsequia la naturaleza 🌱

For our final step, we're going to place the string strips on the 4 corners of the planter so we can hang it. Then, we'll place wet soil inside to help it hold up. I first placed some wet sawdust that I have in my yard, then I added some wet soil, pressing it down, and then I added the plant's branches.

This type of plant has a great advantage: it sprouts very easily, so I know that in a few days it will be leafy and beautiful. When we hang our planter, it will take shape. For added security, if you're going to make it this way, you can place something on the sides to prevent the soil from falling out. In my case, it held up very well as I placed it and pressed it down, and so we have this beautiful planter ready with materials that nature gives us 🌱

Me gustó mucho el resultado y esta idea de poder hacer materos sólo con cosas naturales, espero les haya gustado también, estuve varios días sin publicar por el gran miedo que pasé con mi cuenta de Hive, aún siento un poco de temor, todavía estoy con el proceso de proteger mis redes sociales ya que no fue solamente Hive la que tuve afectada, no quiero perder mi cuenta ni la reputación que ya llevo, es mucho esfuerzo el que le dedicamos a esta gran plataforma y no quiero perder todo ese esfuerzo que ya llevo por más de 3 años ahora sólo queda confiar y continuar, me despido por hoy deseándoles muchos éxitos y bendiciones, hasta otra oportunidad ☺️❤️
