Mi hija vio entre mis telas un retazo de una de cuadros que compré hace un tiempo en oferta y me preguntó qué haría con esta tela, le dije que por ahora no tenía nada pensado, así que me sugirió una blusa tipo chaleco para ella ya que a mi hija más pequeña le hice una hace poco y a ella le encantó, así que manos a la obra aquí les dejo el paso a paso para esta linda, blusa tipo chaleco:

My daughter saw a scrap of plaid fabric I bought on sale a while ago among my fabrics and asked me what I would do with it. I told her I didn't have anything planned at the moment, so she suggested a vest-style blouse for herself, since I recently made one for my youngest daughter and she loved it. So, let's get started! Here's the step-by-step tutorial for this cute vest-style blouse:

Esta tela la compré hace tiempo a un precio muy económico, pero compré muy poca cantidad, tan solo 75 cm de largo y de ancho tiene 1,35 m al ser muy poca cantidad, no tenía nada en mente para hacer con ella, así que mi hija me sugirió que le hiciera una blusa tipo chaleco, para esta voy a guiarme con el patrón de mi hija menor ella es un poco más delgada, así que le haré un poco de modificaciones para agrandarla, aquí les dejo la lista de materiales a utilizar:

• 75cm de tela que no sea elástica
• tijeras
• entretela
• máquina de coser

I bought this fabric a while ago for a very low price, but I only bought a small amount—just 75 cm long and 1.35 m wide. Since it was such a small quantity, I didn't have any plans for it, so my daughter suggested I make her a vest-style blouse. I'm going to use my younger daughter's pattern as a guide; she's a bit slimmer, so I'll make some adjustments to make it larger. Here's the list of materials you'll need:

Para la confección de esta blusa, voy a utilizar el patrón de mi hija más pequeña, sólo que haré un poco de agrandamiento para adaptarlo a la talla de mi hija más grande, cortaremos este patrón consta de 4 piezas delanteras (si no vamos a colocarle forro) y de atrás sólo una pieza de tela.

Este modelo lo haré bastante sencillo ya que la tela no me alcanza, así que al no llevar forro, voy a colocarle sesgo por la orilla, cortaré tiras de aproximadamente 4 cm, esta sería otra forma de hacer esta blusa tipo chaleco y si queda bien, creo que será buena idea para hacerlo con telas elásticas.

To make this blouse, I'm going to use my youngest daughter's pattern, but I'll enlarge it slightly to fit my eldest. This pattern consists of four front pieces (if we're not adding a lining) and just one back piece.

I'll keep this design quite simple since I don't have enough fabric. Because it's not lined, I'll add bias tape to the edges, cutting strips approximately 4 cm wide. This is another way to make this vest-style blouse, and if it works well, I think it would be a good idea to make it with stretch fabrics.

En este paso vamos a comenzar con las costuras, primero vamos a hacer las dos pinzas en la parte de atrás, para esto yo doblo la tela a la mitad y luego nuevamente a la mitad así me da la medida perfecta para las pinzas, luego vamos a unir el par de piezas delanteras de cada lado, luego unimos por los hombros, las partes delanteras con la de atrás

Ahora continúo colocándole sesgo en el contorno de mangas, en el contorno del cuello, y para la botonera voy a colocarle una tira de tela a esta le vamos a colocar entretela y será de aproximadamente 6 cm de ancho, unimos de cada lado en las orillas , luego le damos el doblez para darle la forma y pasamos costura para fijar.

Now I continue adding bias tape to the sleeve outline, the neckline, and for the button placket I'm going to add a strip of fabric to which we'll add interfacing and it will be approximately 6 cm wide, we join it on each side at the edges, then we fold it to give it shape and sew it to secure it.

Para finalizar pensé en colocarle sesgo por toda la orilla del ruedo, pero luego recordé que cuando es de tela rígida, sobre todo esta tela que estoy usando que es bastante delgada, al usar la busca a deformarse un poco, así que preferí pasarle costura de Overlook y luego doblar para hacerles un ruedo bastante delgado y así ya está lista esta linda blusa tipo chaleco espero les guste

Finally, I thought about adding bias binding all around the hem, but then I remembered that with stiff fabric, especially this thin fabric I'm using, it tends to stretch out a bit when worn. La confección de esta blusa me gustó muchísimo, al principio sentí muchas dudas, ya que la tela es muy delgada y pensé que no quedaría bien, también sentí muchas dudas de cómo quedaría al colocarle sesgo por la orilla, pero el resultado me encantó, eso es todo por hoy, me despido deseándoles que tengan un excelente día 💖
