This episode of 3% takes a break from the intense physical challenges and focuses on something just as interesting: Ezequiel's past.
I have to admit, I wasn't expecting to feel any sympathy for him. Until now, he's been this mysterious and intimidating figure who seems to have complete control over The Process. But seeing his painful memories gives him a much more human side.
Aline also becomes increasingly interesting. She's clearly intelligent and ambitious, but her decision to use Ezequiel's secrets as leverage shows that the people running The Process can be just as ruthless as the candidates.
What I enjoyed most was how this episode reminded me that nobody in this world is completely innocent. Everyone seems to be hiding something, and power always comes with a price.
It wasn't as action-packed as the previous episode, but I appreciated the character development. Sometimes understanding the people behind the system is more interesting than watching another test.
