Many of us use our achievements or non - achievements to define our level of success . That is a big mistake. you wrote an examination and failed, that is no reason to conclude that you are a failure. That is the biggest lie of the devil. Before the examiner was born it was already designed into your destiny that you should be a success. and the day the nature of Glod came inside you, you become a success. Naturally parameters are too poor to measure who you are. stop trying to identify yourself by the things that have happened to you or by what you have. It is wrong to think that if you do not have money, you are poor. Do not build your self esteem on material things. On this earth, the raw material with which God builds is His word ( or his idea). Whatever He calls a person or anything is what that person or thing becomes. You are who God say you are. The big question however is, will you believe it? And this is victory that has overcome the world- our faith. What you believe is what you become. Take a cue from Jesus who boldly declared, " The Spirit of theLORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor ; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captive and recovery of sight to the blind, to set us liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD" He has not begun to work miracles.
Today we have many people who would not believe they are anointed or enpowered until they have open a blind eyes or raise someone from the dead. The big problem is that you are not going to raise anybody until you believe you are anointed. The anointing you do not believe in it's not going to work for you. No way! these things begin from the inside out. I call it the battle of identity.
Unfortunately, some words certain people spoke to us have been lodged deep in our heart, and we have unwisely allowed those words to control our lives. Perhaps, you have been called a fool or you have been told that you will never make it in life. perhaps, some of the people who say those things to you are even dead already. Yet from their graves you irritationally allow them to still control your life. No more! do use lack of educational qualification to determine your value. Do not even use poor appearance because we tend to feel inferior in the presence of someone who has better clothes than we do or who has achieve something more than we have. on our inside we have as much as they have; only that you are in the process of converting your success to its material equivalent you arrive at an event on food but there you are sitting beside another person who rode in on a hummer. need you shiver with inferiority, unable to even say "good morning " take note, you may not have a hummer on the outside, but if you already drive one on in the inside, it is only a matter of time; it will come out. Do not feel inferior . you are a person of value.
I have said that self-image will affect your your behaviour. There are shops and malls many of us have never entered because we consider their prices as being too expensive. but who else should go to those shop if not you? everything is created for you. Do not act based on your present outward circumstances; they are not the true reflection of who you are. Act on what God has said about you. You are a child of God. every problem you come across is an opportunity for miracles. An opportunities for the power in your life to find expression. You must believe before you become.
