These were taken at about eight AM today.
Smoked salmon, pretty good. A good, inexpensive lunch.
A 1914 model National, cool.
It says:
The first cash register of the Lammi co-operative
The board of the Lammi(*) co-operative started negotiations on purchasing the first cash register in 1907.
The new cash register was purchased from Stockholm instead in 1914. The price was very high, almost 200 markkas.
This is an original National cash register purchased during the first world war.
Cash registers like this were very rare in the early 20th century.
*) Lammi is a small municipality about 40 km to the northwest of Lahti on the highway between Lahti and Tampere.
