Well, this was a treat in the garden today. Was doing some good old gardening (cos what else is there to do at the moment??) and this little guy started flying around and landed on the lawn for a break. Rushed to get the camera and he posed for quite a while for me.
These are quite common in the UK but they are pretty hard to capture (as are most butterflies unless you get them in the morning when things are cooler).
It's good to see some little creatures starting to appear as the weather warms up - can't wait for the outdoor macro season to get into full swing again.
