The New York Times (and many other news websites) allow everyone a few free looks at their content -- before demanding that you pay for what should be a public service.

Fortunately, it's easy to convince them never to charge you . . . . just don't let them recognize you as a previous visitor

  1. When your web browser is open, it will have an icon open on the bottom toolbar.  Right-click on that icon.
  2. Choose "New incognito window" (Google Chrome);  "New InPrivate window" (Microsoft Edge) or "New private window" (Mozilla Firefox)
  3. Read any number of articles you desire
