My entry in celestial challenge by 
Back when I was in high school, in my history class, my teacher told and taught us that the longest wall in the world is the Great Wall of China. At that time she had a visual aid showing the picture of Great Wall of China, I was so amazed and I really want to see it personally, I want to go to China. Up to now, I want to go there and walk through it, I’m wondering how long would I take to walk from end to end of the great wall of china. (they say it takes 1 year and 6 months to finish by walking – 5500 miles).
Great Wall of China is made up of stone brick and wood, it took 20 years to build, then end of the Great Wall of China is the Laolongtou or the Old Dragon’s Head, it is like the head of the dragon. How old it is? It is more than 2300 years old (wow!) But did you know that during its construction many people died building it, they called it as the “longest cemetery on earth” (around more than one million).
Great Wall of China is still standing and it is part of the history, I’m looking forward to visit that place in the future 🙂
