We planned last Friday with my friend to go in Corniche Abu Dhabi for a morning walk at first we were hesitate to go at early morning because of the weather here in UAE is too cold and it’s so lazy to wake up early especially it’s our off that day, but gladly we made it :D
- 6:00am
I wake up at 6:00 am and do a stretch and warm-up exercise, I texted my friend if she is already awake and she replied that she’s already preparing her things, so I prepared my things as well and cooked our food. We agreed to bring breakfast, I was assigned to bring fried egg, fried hotdogs, and bread while my friend assigned to her to bring chips, chocolate drink, and water.
- 7:00 am
We decided to meet near her house because she is near in the corniche park. It’s just 10 mins away from their house if you will walk fast Lol. As we were walking and chatting to each other, we both forget to bring picnic mat ☹ That time Mall and other store are still close. So we look around and ended up to a convenience store. Luckily, we found and bought a picnic mat that only 2-3 people can occupy.
- At the park
Finally at around 8:00 am we reach the park ( yes less than 1 hour walk, as me and my friend walk slowly, chatting and of course including the taking picture while going there.) We have seen a lot of people walking, jogging and riding bicycle and I saw one group that they are doing exercise with matching music (I think they were doing Zumba). The park is so beautiful and greenery scene, the grass looks so green and it’s just like I want to lay down in that grass. We were still searching the way going to the beach at that time and still walking around at the same time we were enjoying and having fun with the view. We've both shouted that’s the beach and look each other and run ( its look like it's our first time to see a beach LOL)
- At the beach
At 8:30 were already in the beach, we silently smell the fresh air, and we took a leisure walk, we felt great! It’s really hard to walk in the sand wearing shoes but we handled it :D I want to swim and feel the sea that time but we didn’t bring extra clothes and that time it's very cold. While we are seating near in the sea I felt very peaceful, I really enjoyed seeing and looking around at the view and appreciate the nature's beauty. I really love the cool breeze that sweep my hair, the sun-kissed ,and the crystal water from the sea. It makes me feel limitless & free in all aspects, I feel lucky as I witnessed the sunrise.
- Eating time
It’s time to eat!!! We go back to the park so we can eat our breakfast, we unpacked our foods and place on the picnic mat, we were so hungry that time that’s why we finished all the foods we bought.(hahaha) Many people around the park placed their own mat, some are playing in the park, some are doing exercise and some are having a picnic. I wish I can bring my family here next time and I’m sure they will like it the way I love it!! :D
