22 April 2026, Freewriters Community Daily Writing Prompt Day 3081: I’m just drifting

I'm no longer here, nor am I there. What once brought me joy and satisfaction now holds no interest for me. I'm simply adrift, uneasy in my refuge, like a ship without a rudder or compass. Where have my emotions gone? Why have feelings ceased to exist? I urgently need a lifeline to rescue me from this constant rocking, this feeling that I'm sinking—an anchor filled with encouraging words and sincere embraces. It can bring me back to safe harbor, back to the shore, to the reality of my present, helping me understand that this too shall pass.
Today I simply feel adrift. Soon I will find my way out. I must continue navigating my emotions, experiencing them, understanding them, processing them until I can inhabit myself again, to reach my new present, which is my only reality.

Ya no estoy aquí, tampoco estoy allá, lo que antes me causaba alegría, satisfacción ya carece de interés por mi, simplemente estoy a la deriva, no me siento a gusto en mi guarida, como un barco sin timón ni norte, a donde se fueron mis emociones? Por que los sentimientos dejaron de sentirse? necesito urgente un salvavidas que me rescate de ese vaivén constante de tener la sensación de que me hundo, un ancla lleno de palabras alentadoras, de abrazos sinceros, puede hacerme volver a puerto seguro o a la orilla, a la realidad de mi presente, que me haga entender que esto también pasará, simplemente hoy me siento a la deriva, pronto encontraré la salida, tengo que seguir navegando en mis emociones, vivirlas, entenderlas, procesarlas hasta volver a habitarme para llegar a mi nuevo presente que es mi única realidad...
