Hello again Holozing friends! 🤗

After a few days of rest and time with the family, today I want to share with you this emotional illustration, which I have been working on since this morning to say goodbye to the year 2024. It was really a difficult year for me, full of many trials and unfulfilled goals that leave me a clear teaching in my life. To tell the truth with this illustration, I want to close everything that happened this year and have a new beginning. In advance I want to thank everyone who has supported my work and wish you a Prosperous New Year 2025, I hope you like this version of Forest Healer and without further ado I leave you with the process!

Hola de nuevo amigos de Holozing! 🤗

Luego de unos días de descanso y tiempo con la familia, el día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes esta emotiva ilustración, en la que he estado trabajando desde esta mañana para despedirme del año 2024. Realmente fue un año difícil para mí, lleno de muchas pruebas y metas incumplidas que me dejan una clara enseñanza en mi vida. A decir verdad con está ilustración, quiero cerrar todo lo que pase este año y tener un nuevo comienzo. De antemano quiero agradecer a todos los que han apoyado mi trabajo y desearles un Prospero año nuevo 2025, ¡Espero les guste esta versión de Forest Healer y sin mas los dejo con el proceso!

I started from a thumbnail portrait sketch, having as an idea a kawaii version of the character. With the sketch ready, I made the lineart in a new layer with a feather brush.

Comencé todo a partir de un boceto tipo retrato en formato thumbnail, teniendo como idea una versión kawaii del personaje. Con el boceto listo, fui haciendo el lineart en una nueva capa con un pincel pluma.

Then fill the whole character with gray, applying the base colors of elements in several layers on top.

Después rellene a todo el personaje de color gris, aplicando por encima los colores base de todos los elementos en varias capas.

With a low opacity brush, apply the shadows following the cell shading style, but with softer finishes. On top add highlights on the hair, eyes and clothing. Then change the background color and add some sticks and rectangle behind the character to present it.

Con un pincel de baja opacidad, aplique las sombras siguiendo el estilo del cell shading, pero con acabados más suaves. Por encima, agregue iluminaciones en el pelo, ojos y vestimenta. Después cambié de color el fondo y agregué unos bastones y rectángulo por detrás del personaje para poder presentarlo.

Finally I placed the final details on the eyes, and also worked on the background adding elements such as particles, text and the Holozing logo inside the rectangle to create a nice Christmas effect.

Por último fui colocando los detalles finales en los ojos, y también trabaje en el fondo agregando elementos como partículas, texto y el logo de Holozing dentro del rectángulo para crear un agradable efecto navideño.
