Hi Holozing friends 😉.

Although I've been a bit discouraged these days, after your great support in my last publication, I've been working on a new illustration with the same style and today I finally want to share it with all of you. As a character I chose the well-known and one of my favorites Grass Racoon, representing him as a kawaii emote full of color and very charismatic, I hope you enjoy this version and without further ado I leave you with my process!

A pesar de que he estado un poco desanimado estos días, tras su gran apoyo en mi ultima publicación, he estado trabajando en una nueva ilustración con el mismo estilo y hoy finalmente quiero compartirla con todos ustedes. Como personaje elegí al conocido y de mis favoritos Grass Racoon, representándolo como un emote kawaii lleno de color y muy carismático, ¡espero que disfruten esta versión y sin mas los dejo con mi proceso!

The idea started by making some thumbnail sketches, the idea was to make only the head and hands of the character but, I chose to make it a full body with a funny expression. I chose the idea that I liked the most, I cleaned the lines with a thick feather brush.

La idea comenzó haciendo algunos bocetos en formato thumbnail, la idea era hacer solo la cabeza y manos del personaje pero, opte por hacerlo cuerpo completo con una expresión divertida. Elegí la idea que mas me gusto, limpie las líneas con un pincel tipo pluma grueso.

Assemble a color palette, fill the character with gray and apply the base colors in several separate layers.

Arme una paleta de color, rellene al personaje de color gris y aplique los colores base en varias capas por separado.

Then I started to apply the shadows in Cell Shading style using a dark Violet color, for the highlights I used an airbrush and stamps for the cheeks and eyes of the character and added some simple lines as light, I changed the background to a white color and placed a yellow rectangle as background for the character.

Luego comencé a aplicar las sombras en estilo Cell Shading usando un color Violeta oscuro, para las iluminaciones utilice un aerógrafo y sellos para los cachetes y ojos del personaje y agregue algunas líneas simples como luz, cambie el fondo a uno de color blanco y coloque un rectángulo amarillo como fondo para el personaje.

Finally, add details to the rectangle, textures, glitter and stars to the composition for a more eye-catching finish.

Para finalizar agregue detalles al rectángulo, texturas, brillos y estrellas a la composición para un acabado mas llamativo.
