Dear readers, it is stressful to live with the threat of the Coronavirus, we are all very nervous and we cannot do anything but follow the instructions given by the authorities on TV, radio and social networks, although our town is small compared to the big cities we are also living with the terrible threat, which leads us to make nervous purchases, perhaps some buy more than others because of their purchasing power, those of us who have less to prioritize and buy food, others buy alcohol, wet towels, antibacterial gel, hydrogen peroxide, soaps and cleaning products. Many buy large quantities of food. It is impressive how they buy bales of rice, spaghetti, flour of all kinds, tuna and everything else that can be eaten. The traders take advantage of this to increase prices to speculative levels which makes the situation more difficult.

Rarely are we happy to see empty streets and public transportation stops, the instructions to stop the spread of the Coronavirus are being carried out and that in our state there are no official cases of positive diagnosis.

There are few people who carry the mask, but there are many places where the public attention has it and several businesses of Chinese citizens have improved the hygiene of the premises and use the mask. In police patrols, police officers are observed wearing mask.

My town is called "San José de Guanipa" and 19 March is Saint Joseph's Day so it is a tradition to celebrate the feast of its Patron Saint and this year to comply with the security measures dictated by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro were suspended.

While everything happens, people must abide by the measures and seek alternatives to do as much as possible at home, from writing post, reading post, reading books, doing crafts, life presents us with a war situation that in part we are already used to living it as a result of the strong crisis that our country is going through

Faced with this situation, we have no choice but to pray and ask God that all measures will be effective and will succeed in slowing down the advance of the virus.
