Greetings friends of FreeCompliments
Gifts of life: solidarity
We continue to enjoy the magic through our treasures, those gifts that life gives us to share and also to receive.
In this meeting, we will try to approach the denotative meanings of solidarity. It is to navigate in many of its potentialities, but also to border on the risks that it can run to be manipulated.
In order to tune in and connect with this gift of life, I think it is appropriate to start by going through our relational world in society, where, thanks to him, we do not live in the indifference of anonymity.
We are beings in need of socialization and collectivity, we need daily life. Likewise, we are by nature taxative emotional, and sentimental. I think that these conditions give vigor to our being and are what allow us to perceive otherness through our senses.
We exist, feel and live, by and for the encounter with others. This is how we learn to strengthen our humanity in correspondence with otherness. It is there where we travel in the multidimensionality of knowing, understanding, interpreting, and valuing ourselves, each other, and the world we inhabit, to which we all belong.
Socialization fortifies us, generates empathy, and builds identity, since it favors our sense of belonging to the world, reinforcing that throughout our journey we will always be with others. This is how we establish human relationships with empathic awareness, experiencing and assimilating to be social beings interacting in the complex human ecosystem that carries with it behaviors, values, and beliefs.
We do not refuse to welcome solitude, and we accept it for spaces, for precise moments to rethink, flow, redirect, and also to enjoy the tranquility with the inner self and to be ecstatic with it. However, extending and dilating solitude considerably generates fragilities and lassitudes. The reason is simple, it violates and dents our encounter of sharing with others. We require affection and protection. Socializing is proper for our species and necessary for mutual gratification.
We are agglomerations, geodesic and territorial, we require otherness, encounter, and shared experience. It is in collectivity where we find answers and evidence to many of the whys and wherefores of our lives, which in our eyes are inconclusive and incongruent.
It is in this dynamic, busy, and convulsive society that we develop in multiple social spaces such as family, work, friends, community, and social networks, among other scenarios existing in virtuality. It is these global networks that allow us to experience and establish solidarity encounters, expressed by affection and support for the causes or interests of others, especially in difficult situations.
In this way, new codifying meshes of help and cooperation in collectivity, emerge indefatigably, in a profuse and fruitful way, amidst mixture, hybridization, and heterogeneity. Solidarity is enriched as a way of life and as a way of being in life. Where it accepts exchanges in timelessness, as well as diversity and disparity, to emerge the support that brings us closer and links us in solidarity with each other.
In solidarity, giving is appreciated, but also the opportunity to accept and receive arises, being able to be unidirectional or multidirectional. New expressive languages flourish, which helps to open plurality, in collaborative learning and doing.
Our current society deconstructs and breaks linearity, subjugating distance and time. In doing so, we open new paths of solidarity to facilitate interaction between us.
Greater possibilities arise to share the good and the not-so-good, to release positive emotionality, in a quality of feeling of unity that does not necessarily imply common interests, it is to help without conditions of retribution, it is to support the welfare of another or others.
To be supportive is to be congruent in our principles, to be willing to support realities very different from our own. It is to develop empathy and affinity to contribute to the evolution and transformation of unfavorable situations into enriching experiences, in socialization. It is to see and recognize the needs of others, to strengthen our inner balance and that of our environment.
Solidarity is not quantified or qualified, better or worse, small or large, does not exclude, does not discriminate, does not select. It is a cooperation that generates responsibility in joint reflection, satisfaction, and shared delight. It is a value that links us, connects us, brings us closer, brings us together, strengthens us, and humanizes us. As long as the action is disinterested, without expecting anything in return. If the opposite happens, it ceases to be solidarity.
Solidarity is the language of helping the human feeling in daily life. It is voluntary and conscious in its actions, it has no boundaries. It recognizes and values the situations of others, through selfless support and cooperation.
