Hace días estando en casa pude ver la película Mutiny protagonizada por Jason Statham, se estrenó recientemente el 21 de agosto de este año, una película más de acción y suspenso que pensé que me sorprendería, realmente siento que casi siempre se basan en la misma historia, crimen, venganza, se puede disfrutar de esta película pero no me ha generado impresión o no ha sido especial como algunas de Jason Statham. Tiene una duración de 95 minutos.
A few days ago, while at home, I watched the movie Mutiny starring Jason Statham. It was recently released on August 21st of this year. It's another action-thriller, and I thought it might surprise me. I really feel like they almost always follow the same storyline: crime, revenge. You can enjoy this movie, but it didn't impress me or feel as special as some of Jason Statham's other films. It has a runtime of 95 minutes.
Cole Reed es un agente de seguridad, trabaja para un hombre muy rico llamado Tibu Campallo, que ha protegido desde siempre, mientras van en un auto es interceptado y asesinan a su jefe, quedando él como culpable del crimen por lo que huye en busca de venganza, me di cuenta que hay escenas que iban muy rápido, en mi opinión pudieron desarrollarlas mejor.
Cole Reed is a security agent who works for a very rich man named Tibu Campallo, whom he has always protected. I noticed that there are scenes that went very fast, in my opinion they could have developed them better.
Al buscar venganza se encuentra con un caso aún peor que debe ayudar a resolver, el sube a un buque que pertenecía a la compañía de su jefe, lo hace para buscar respuestas en cuanto al asesinato del señor Tibu, lo que sorprende es que varios conocidos que trabajan en la compañía están involucrados en actividades ilícitas, allí se infiltra para buscar desmantelar a este grupo criminal.
Seeking revenge, he encounters an even worse case that he must help solve. He boards a ship that belonged to his boss's company to find answers regarding the murder of Mr. Tibu. What surprises him is that several acquaintances who work at the company are involved in illicit activities. He infiltrates the group to try to dismantle this criminal organization.
Si me gustó como el protagonista desarrolló su personaje como casi siempre se le ve callado, serio, centrado en su objetivo, si hay escenas de tensión, y suspenso pero también hay algunas que se ven exageradas esto porque se le ve como un hombre fuerte y resistente que no cae con tantos golpes o disparos, aunque cuenta con un entrenamiento militar creo que debería ser algo más realista.
I liked how the protagonist developed his character; he's almost always quiet, serious, and focused on his goal. There are scenes of tension and suspense, but some of them seem exaggerated because he's portrayed as a strong and resilient man who doesn't fall with so many blows or shots. Although he has military training, I think it should be more realistic.
Si bien es cierto, me gustó la película pero tampoco me dejó un gran impacto podría decir que no es buena ni mala, ya que este esquema lo hemos visto varias veces, un hombre entrenado que busca venganza y al final termina victorioso sin un rasguño, no quiero decir que no sea entretenida ya que tiene los requisitos principales de una película de acción, solo siento que seguir el mismo patrón hace perder originalidad.
While it's true I liked the movie, it didn't leave a huge impact on me. I'd say it's neither good nor bad, since we've seen this formula several times: a trained man seeking revenge who ends up victorious without a scratch. I don't mean to say it wasn't entertaining, as it has the main requirements of an action movie; I just feel that following the same pattern makes it lose originality.
